Learning outcomes:
After this course students:
- can demonstrate knowledge of key concepts, definitions and different approaches to environmental risk assessment;
- can use knowledge of environmental monitoring to assess risks;
- can calculate the level of risk created by the enterprise for air, water, soil using monitoring data;
- can use regulatory documents in the field of environmental risk assessment;
- can normalize and assess the risk of contamination of territories with radioactive waste;
- can make design and technical documentation for the assessment of existing risks.
Competences obtained by students:
- able to assess the environmental risk created by the object of waste disposal on air, water, soil for sustainable management of industrial production;
- able to apply quantitative calculation methods of risk assessment in practice;
- able to argue and determine the level of risk associated with the activities of enterprises;
- possesses competencies for formulating issues, challenges, and generalization of the results obtained for risk assessment.
